This Haemochromatosis Awareness Week, we are thrilled to be hosting an Iron Brew social gathering on Friday 5th June 2026!

Join us at the former Iron Works - Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life in Coatbridge for tea/coffee and a chat about iron overload it its prevalence in Scotland.

Situated within Scotland's 'industrial heartland', Summerlee Museum tells the story of the great heavy industries that once thrived here, and making it a spectacular venue for our event! The museum is also completely free to attend, and you will be free to wander round an amazing array of machinery, social history and interactive displays either before, or after our event!

We'd love to see as many of you as possible so that we can celebrate Awareness Week together and highlight the need for more support for those living with the condition, as well as more awareness and education about haemochromatosis.
