World Haemochromatosis Event & Pass it On Families Pack Launch

For World Haemochromatosis Week and Volunteer's Week, we are hosting an event for our Volunteers and Steering Group Members at The Forest of Arden Hotel near Birmingham.

This event promises to be a fantastic day of education, collaboration and celebration for all who attend.

On the day, we will also be launching our highly anticipated Pass it On Families Packs - a TNL Community Funded project, undertaken by our Steering Group. The Families Pack promises to be an invaluable resources for families experiencing a new diagnosis of genetic haemochromatosis.

Expect talks from CEO Jonathan Jelley, Iron Nurse Victoria, Philanthropy Manager Neil Irwin and Katey Quinn, on of our fantastic Steering Group Members! We will be discussing charity priorities following Professor Jim Wilson's Viking Gene Research, the wider Pass it On Programme, case studies from the Haemochromatosis UK Helpline and How to Host your Own Iron Brew. 

We will also be hosting an awards ceremony at the end of the day, to announce who has won this year's Room to Reward Hotel Breaks for Hidden Heroes, and our Janet Fernaugh Volunteer's Award.
